Friends of MCA- Advisory Board

Be a Friend of MCA!

Friends of MCA is the official volunteer committee/advisory board for the Minnesota Conservatory for the Arts.  Through volunteerism, this board of parents, arts educators and students, and other citizens active in MCA, fosters MCA’s mission of promoting and encouraging artistic expression in children and adults.  This community member and parent-led  association offers areas of participation in fundraising, volunteering, and coordinating community outreach events and benefits.  The Friends of MCA’s Board is also an invaluable sounding board providing feedback and direction to MCA as an organization. Biennially Friends of MCA host the Sugar Plum Fairy Tea Party that coincides with our production of “The Nutcracker“.  For details about the volunteer opportunities please email mca@smumn.edu today.

Meetings are generally held at the Valencia Arts Center in the Monet Room (Art Room) or virtually via Zoom.  Anyone interested in making a difference through the arts is invited to join us.
