Art teachers we would love to see your student’s artwork featured at MCA. Galleria Valencia is a great place to share your work with the community as we have hundreds of students, their families, and audience members in our building each week in addition to students, staff, and community members from rental organizations including Japan Karate-Do Genbu-kai of Minnesota, Great River Shakespeare Festival, and Winona International Dancers.  MCA will provide hanging tools including tape, hanging system and push pins to use on cork strips as needed, but teacher’s will be required to hang and dismantle the show. Please contact Megan at: 507-453-5500 or mca@smumn.edu for details.

Professional Artists There is no charge to the artist for the opportunity to exhibit in Galleria Valencia. Work is seen by hundreds of students, families, and community members of all ages each week. Since their are many families with young children it is important that all artwork is family friendly. Artists are welcome to sell their work by having the buyer contact them or during an artist reception. 2-D work that can be hung through our hanging system works best, but there is an option in the front lobby for 3-D or other work depending on the time of year and space needs. Artists are asked to hang their show and to sign a waiver stating they are responsible for their own insurance.  MCA is happy to have a reception for the artist and provide treats if the artist is interested.

If you are an artist who is interested in displaying at MCA please send a little of introduction and a sample or two of your work to Jamie at: jschwaba@smumn.edu.
