Need-Based Scholarships

Scholarship Information

The MCA scholarship fund has been made possible by the Hiawatha Education Foundation, Winona Health Community Partnership Fund, Elizabeth Callendar King Foundation and various fundraisers made throughout the year. Scholarships are awarded to students or families based on financial need for classes and workshops. Unfortunately, at this time private music lessons are ineligible for assistance. Students wishing to apply for a financial need scholarship may do so by having their parent or legal guardian complete this scholarship application. You will also need to fill out a class registration form either online or a paper copy, marking the box indicating you are applying for scholarship. This will assure that your spot is saved. Scholarship applications are due by April 22nd for Spring & Summer Programs, August 23rd for Fall classes and by Jan 7th for Winter classes. Applicants will be notified of their award after the financial board has met. If the Board is unable to meet and notify prior to the start of a program, students can still attend classes they are registered for.
