It may be a little different than coming to the studio, however virtual classes still help students feel connected to a community and caring instructor, help foster creativity, confidence, and spacial awareness and can be executed from the comfort and safety of your own home. All of our Fall in-person classes in Intermediate-Advanced Ballet, Pointe, Jazz, Tap, and Contemporary and also be taken online, but below is a list of our classes that are exclusively taught online in real-time through Zoom beginning the week of Sept. 14th and our Fall 2 Adult Fitness Classes beginning Oct. 5.

Dance Adventures
Do you have a little one who loves to twist and spin and dance around the room? If so, they will love this sampler class, which is a blend of creative movement, ballet technique and games. Students will love expressing themselves through movement, gaining knowledge of different dance forms ,and benefiting from moving in space with others.

Ballet I/II A
This basic ballet class meant for MCA levels I- IIA to do from their home. This is also open to new students ages 7+. Students will just need a little space, a chair or railing to use as a ballet barre, and a device enabled with Wi-Fi. We will be using Zoom and will enable cameras so if students wish to be able to interact with the instructor and other students, otherwise families can choose to not share their image. We recommend students wear dance apparel and shoes if they have them and have a water bottle near by to set them up for success.

Beginning Hip Hop

Cardio Barre
Please join us from your living room (kitchen or bedroom) for a barre class with added emphasis on cardio to help you build up and maintain cardiovascular health and stamina. All you need is a little space with a chair to serve as your barre, a bit of floor space, and 2 lb. hand weights (or even two can's of soup). This class is taught by a certified instructor. A unique combination of strength work and cardio intervals that will reshape your muscles while elevating your heart rate. You will leave stronger in both body and mind. Whether you have a limited or extensive background in dance, you will love this fast moving, fun style of exercise. Ages 14+.

Melt your stress away during this deep stretch and relaxation class. This class uses gentle fitness and yoga techniques to release tension, relieve muscle soreness, rejuvenate joints and improve overall mind/body health, wellness and awareness. The final portion of class includes relaxation instruction to help you head peacefully into the weekend. No experience necessary.

Experience the artistry of ballet while gaining flexibility, placement, strength, and fluidity in this ballet technique and conditioning class. All levels are welcome, no experience necessary.
