We are excited to announce that in addition to weekly classes during the month of July we have three unique week long creative arts camps and three dance camps to help keep kids active, creative and connected.

All three of creative art camps feature instruction in two or more creative areas including music, theatre, dance, and visual art and come with an at-home pack with art supplies, handouts and or props to hopefully keep kids entertained even beyond the virtual meetings. The virtual dance camps for beginning to pre-professional level dancers ages 6+ are designed to help build well-rounded dancers, meeting each student at their level.

On a recent survey parents stated the they were looking for programs that not only teach arts and foster creativity but they also reinforce literacy and STEAM (Science Technology Engineering Art & Math), so with that in mind we hope you and your kids will be excited about our creative arts offerings which each will explore the arts but also explore the natural and cultural world around us.

We will miss hearing the voices of kids in our halls and creative spaces this summer, but we are committed to offering unique and quality programming that can be done safely from the comfort of your own home at least through July 31. Please take comfort that we are continually reassessing the situation and recommendations from our affiliate program Saint Mary’s University of MN and public health officials to find out the earliest but safest time we can return to regular programming. Util then we hope that you will continue to join us and the vibrant community we have fostered online. Below are the details about our June camps. You may also want to explore our other online programs by clicking here. Thanks to all you have taken and continue to journey with us in these challenging times.

Tap Camp (Virtual with Bonus outside in-person gathering)

Join us for an exciting week of rhythm! Each day campers will receive a pre-recorded tap lesson including a warm-up, technique lesson, & combinations. Students will then have the opportunity to meet up virtually over Zoom with instructors/classmates each evening to clarify material, learn a bit of history, or concepts to round out their tap education. TAP CAMP will hold new challenges for intermediate and advanced tappers.
