Minnesota Conservatory for the Arts (MCA) is so honored to be partnering with Winona dance/visual artist Sharon Mansur who will lead a workshop exploring the basics of dance filmmaking at MCA on Tuesday, October 9, 7-8:15pm. Dance films are short, experimental creative art films featuring movement. The integration of movement, location and the camera eye is integral to dance filmmaking and provides richly imagistic, kinetic and emotional experiences. People interested in an opportunity to learn about this exciting art medium and play with some basic tools and skills are encouraged to attend. No dance or film experience necessary. And no specialized camera equipment required, just come with your cell phone camera and your imagination!
