You and your family are cordially invited to explore the delightful and intriguing world of theatre during Minnesota Conservatory for the Arts’ (MCA) “All the World is a Stage”, February Family Arts Academy workshop on Friday, Feb. 2nd, 5:30-6:30pm. Don’t miss this opportunity to laugh out loud with your family as you each exercise your silly bone and dip your toe in the lime light in a friendly and pressure free atmosphere. Families will learn an acting warm-up, play improve theatre games and engage their choice of theatre related creative pursuits including crafting Shakespearean Paper Dolls, a model of the famous Globe Theatre, putting on a puppet show, and more. Thanks to the Elizabeth Callender King Foundation this and other monthly themed multi-arts experiences that invite the families to learn new skills, meet local artists and have fun creating memories together are free. Workshops are geared towards kids ages 4-12 and their families, but all ages are welcome. Come to one or all, pre-registration is recommended to guarantee there are enough materials and space.
