On August 26th, 2017, there will be a MCA Student Lock In that will run from 6 pm until 9 am the next day. All MCA students from the past year from all divisions (music, theatre, dance & visual arts) are invited to attend and bring 1 guest, if they wish!
The event is for students aged 10-18 years. The fee is only $15 per student to participate. Dinner, snacks, beverages and breakfast will be provided for all participants. MCA and the Friends of MCA are thankful for the following local businesses that are making this event possible include through food and supply donations;
Please contact or visit the office for a registration form with information regarding the event as well as a form with a basic layout of events that will be held throughout the night including a dance party, movies, games, and crafts. A more specific one will be distributed to registered participants closer to the event. Please note that both boys and girls are invited to participate, however separate sleeping quarters will be designated and monitored.
If you or your student are not in that range, you are more than welcome to still volunteer! We are hoping to make this an annual event, so if you have a younger student currently, please know that their time will come :). This is a volunteer run event, so we need all who can to help out, or the event may need to be cancelled or changed. Students of parents who are willing to volunteer overnight are eligible to attend for free.
