On Dec. 3rd & 4th, 2016 visitors will journey up and down a 100 mile stretch of cities along the Mississippi on both the Minnesota and Wisconsin sides to celebrate winter and kick off the Christmas season during the 100 Miles of Christmas Celebration organized by Mississippi Valley Partners. If visitors get their tickets in advanced they will have the opportunity to take in a performance of the holiday classic “The Nutcracker”.

The Minnesota Conservatory for the Arts (MCA) and the Saint Mary’s University Department of Theatre and Dance will present the Dance Repertory Company in “The Nutcracker” Heralding the message of peace on earth, “The Nutcracker” is performed around the globe during the holiday season. Producing this delightful ballet every other holiday season, the Dance Repertory Company once again brings this magical experience to the Winona area community for it’s ninth biennial production.

“The Nutcracker” will be presented at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 1, through Saturday, Dec. 3, and at 3 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 4. Tickets are $10 for adults, $5 for students and senior citizens.
