Thanks to the success of last years visual arts workshops, MCA is excited to announce another opportunity for young artists to build community and explore the visual arts in a unique way. Lead by artist and educator Brianna Haupt, participants will be invited to take a process-based approach to artistic discovery and skill building.  Students will enhance their artistic decision making skills through a variety of materials such as: clay, watercolor, printmaking. Each session will include introduction to the elements of art and how they guide creative process. Art Lab is a place for kids to join a community of artists, let their imaginations take charge and to choose their own art-venture!

Young artists have the opportunity to partake in 4 workshops or just register for select ones. This Fall workshops are on Saturdays; Sept. 24, Oct. 15, Nov. 19, and Dec. 10, 10–11am for students in Grades K–2 and  11:30a–1pm, for students in Grades 3–5. The Workshops are $52 for all 4 or $15 ea. (no discounts). Pre-registration is required as space is limited.
