Parents need a night out and kids need a fun and safe place to go. That’s why we are having a Parent’s Night Out just for kids ages 6-12 on Friday, Feb. 5th, 2016, 5:00- 8:30pm at MCA’s home, The Valencia Arts Center.
The 3 1/2 hour evening will be filled with dance, theatre games, visual arts and even a little performance. Kids will participate in a hip hop class, watch dance demonstrations, meet cast members from MCA’s pre-professional dance company; The Dance Repertory Company (DRC), have a snack, craft, play theatre games, and finish the evening by cozying up to watch a bit of a dance themed movie. This event is proudly presented by the Friends of MCA and Dance Repertory Company Dancers (DRC) to help support the upcoming DRC production “Words in Motion.”
The fee is only $18 per child and includes a snack, dance instruction, art supplies and 1 youth ticket voucher for Words in Motion. Family discounts apply. Families can register online or in person.
Any current MCA Jr. Hip Hop or Hip Hop I/II student can attend for only $10, since class time overlaps.
