The Irish Dancers of Minnesota Conservatory for the Arts lead by Alanna Pellowski have several opportunities to take in some Irish dancing by one or all three of MCA’s Irish Dance classes throughout the community or even join on in.

The first performance will be 11:00-11:30 am at Winona Senior High School (901 Gilmore Ave, Winona, MN) during the Way to Wellness event sponsored by Winona Health in collaboration with other community partners. After a short performance attendees will be invited to join in on the fun.

Next on Friday, March 2nd, 5:30-6:30pm Kids ages 4-12 are invited to bring their families to MCA’s “Luck of the Irish” Family Arts Academy. Family Arts Academy workshops are FREE monthly themed multi-arts experiences that invite the whole family to learn new skills, meet local artists and have fun creating together. In March Families will be treated to a performance by MCA’s Irish Dancers, learn a jig, create their very own lucky rainbow crayons and much more. Pre-registration is recommended through MCA. Visit: mnconservatoryforthearts.org to register.

On Friday March 9th MCA’s dancers will join the Page Series artists  from the Celtic band  Lúnasa on stage for a short stint at the Saint Mary’s University of MN Page Theatre on Friday March 9th. The show starts at 7:30 pm and tickets can be reserved through PageTheatre.org.

For the fourth consecutive year MCA’s Irish Dancers will dance up a storm at the Monarch Public House in Fountain City (19 N. Main Street) on Friday, March 16th. Performances will begin at 6:30pm and 7:30pm.

Finally the Saint Patrick’s Day festivities will conclude with performances at 3:00pm & 4:00pm at Island City Brewery Company in Winona (65 E. Front Street). Not only is this a St. Patrick’s Day Celebration but it is also the 1 year anniversary of this wonderful local brewery.
